Beth was the Volunteer Executive Director of Mary’s Mantle from August of 2011 – May 2015. She is also the founder of Faith @ Work, a non-profit Catholic Bookstore. Beth served on the governing board of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan for three years. She holds a B.S. Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University with an emphasis in Training and Development. She spent 14 years in the social work field with 9 of those years working as a case manager. Beth is a lifelong Catholic and is a parishioner of St. Anastasia and Ss. Cyril & Methodius. She and her husband Jim have three children.

Rebecca owns her own distributorship with an International Food Science Company. She is affiliated with Patrons of the Arts and a major supporter of Crossroads Pregnancy Center located in Auburn Hills, MI. She is a widow with 4 living children, 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Rebecca is an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Shelby Township.
James holds both a University of Michigan undergrad and graduate degree in business with a broad range of consulting and corporate finance experiences with Fortune 100 to middle market businesses. Primarily relevant skill set for Mary’s Mantle include the following: (i) corporate strategy, (ii) strategic planning & modeling, (iii) financial planning & analysis, (iv) investor relations, and (v) capital structure reorganization. James is a member of MICPA Member (Michigan Association of CPAs) and the University Christian Outreach which promotes goodwill amongst University of Michigan students of different Christian traditions. James is actively involved at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Plymouth. James and his wife Marie have a young son.
Mary Anne Napolitano
Mary Anne graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Child Development and Elementary Education. She has been married to Mark for 32 years and they have three children. She has been an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth since 1986. Some of the activities she has participated in at OLGC include Lead Teacher for the Pre-School Religious Formation Program, After School Religious Formation Teacher, Cub Scout and Brownie Leader, Greeter, and Prayer Minister. She also taught Kindergarten and First Grade at OLGC School.
Father J.J. Mech
Fr. Mech was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on June 24, 1995, after having earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. Having served as Associate Pastor at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, Grosse Pointe and Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Plymouth, Father was assigned as Pastor of Our Lady of Loretto Parish, Redford, in July, 2000. He served the families of Our Lady of Loretto for 7 years before being assigned to St. Anastasia in Troy, in July, 2007. In 2015 Father was assigned as the Rector of Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit, MI. Father’s love of art and architecture led to his studies at Pewabic Pottery Studios in Detroit for several years, and, in 2011, to coordinate “Art for God’s Sake”, a Sacred Art show, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Troy.
Deacon Donald Baross
Deacon Don is the previous co-owner of Delta Precision Inc., a company that builds plastic injection molds for the auto companies. Don has been in this trade for 38 years. He answered the call from God and was ordained a deacon of the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2011. Through Don’s summer field ministries he has become an advocate for the pro-life movement. Don has been married to Donna Lea for 39 years and have one daughter. They are active members of St. Anastasia Parish in Troy.
Sheila has been a registered nurse for 34 years, working in critical care, obstetrics, home care, and management in a primary care office setting. Sheila graduated from Madonna College (now University) with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Along with her husband Deacon Kevin, Sheila is a member of the diaconate formation team for the Archdiocese of Detroit, helping to form future permanent deacons and their wives. Sheila ministers with her husband, both in their parish, St Genevieve-St Maurice, and throughout the archdiocese. Sheila and Kevin have been married for 33 years and love spending time with their 3 adult children and son-in-law.
John is an Air Force veteran where he served in the cryptologic services. He graduated from Oakland University with minors in Economics and Management. He retired from the Telephone Industry after 36 years of service. John and his wife, Sharon, now own a small business in the service industry. They have been married for 22 years and have three grown children. They are also members at St. Anastasia Parish in Troy. John is active in both the 3rd and 4th degrees of the Knights of Columbus.
Toni is the Manager of Community Benefit Compliance at Trinity Health, a multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery system. Toni is a CPA with over 25 years of finance and healthcare related experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Administration from Michigan State University. Toni serves on two benefit committees for the Catholic Health Association of the United States. She is a member of Our Lady of Good Council parish. She has been married to her husband Bob for 26 years and they have two children.
Barry is Vice President at CoMerica Bank as a Director of Enterprise Project Management Strategy and Risk in the Information Services area. Barry is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science, dual major in Psychology and Marketing. Together with his wife Cheryl they are active in the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus as a Pro-Life Advocate Couple and parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion where they are members of the Gospel of Life ministry. He has served as our Board President.
Deacon Dominic Pastore
Deacon Dominic is currently serving at St. Isaac Jogues parish. Dominic is also a Knight in the Order of Malta and volunteers his time as sidewalk counselor for Helpers of God’s Precious Infants. As a sidewalk counselor and a Dominican, he has the opportunity to interact with women (and men) who are actively seeking abortions or are in crucial situations regarding pregnancy, housing and/or family situations. He is an electrical engineer for SmithGroup JJR and has been there for 36 years. Dominic has been married to his wife Teresa for 32 years.
