Would you change places with a homeless person for a night? Could you give up the cell phones, TVs, vehicles, microwaves, and air conditioning?
Most of us are blessed with a roof, food, and countless comforts, but about 9,300 Michigan residents – including many young, pregnant women – face homelessness every night.
St. Anastasia Catholic Church is hosting an In-tents Charities Awareness Week to pray for and reflect on the struggles of our poor, displaced, homeless, and otherwise struggling brothers and sisters. You can participate by supporting the dedicated ‘Tenters’ who have already made the big commitment to sleep out overnight on the St. Anastasia grounds in support of our Mary’s Mantle ministries. Simply use the green button below ~ if you don’t have a specific ‘tenter’ in mind, just go ahead and pick from the list!
